Day 1 It all starts at the beginning…
Scripture: John 1:1-4, Psalm 138:3, Revelation 2:4
Each of us had that moment when we said “Yes” to God. Remember that day? Do you recall what it felt like? Do you remember how it impacted your everyday life: language, thought, action?
Today that same ‘fire’ is less than vibrant, isn’t it? We seemed to have lost a step in our enthusiasm, excitement, joy, passion, etc. that we had in the beginning.
Sometimes the best place to start to reconnect or rekindle something is to go back to the very beginning. In the beginning of our walk with Christ we had something very special. As you read today’s passages, read them carefully, deliberately. Recall the day that Christ came into your heart.
What has changed since that day? What has caused you to move ‘away’ from that first love, away from the conviction and passion? What needs to change today in order for that to return?
What will you do different today?
